ACCREDITATION

Creative Arts College offers accredited, globally recognised and industry relevant programmes. We are a specialist institute focusing on vocational and occupational education in the creative, media and broadcasting environment.

Most of our programmes have a national basis with SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) registered on the NQF (National Qualification Framework) through our primary SETA (Sector of Education & Training Authority), MICT-SETA (Media, Information, Communication , Technology) which falls under the QCTO. QCTO stands for Quality Council for Trades & Occupations and is one of three such councils that exist under the Department of Higher Education (DHET).

We also offer City & Guilds Qualifications for further value and global relevance as they are a leading brand of international vocational education. These qualifications are registered in the United Kingdom on the QCF (Qualification Credit Framework).

The Creative Media Sector is not limited by geographical boundaries. Technological advancements and globalization expels us from thinking of applying ourselves within the narrow parameters of our local space. It is beneficial to the learner and our country to exercise our knowledge and trade in a global market. Creative Arts College's programmes are designed to meet this challenge.

All our qualifications are registered with their relevant authorities and our skills programmes are designed and implemented with a highest of consideration for quality delivery and value. We don't intend on simply developing a learner into a good practitioner but rather a successful one.

NATIONAL - MICT - SETA

MICT - SETA is one of the many SETA’s that fall under the DHET (Department of Higher Education) under the council QCTO. Creative Arts College is registered with MICT - SETA as our primary SETA due to the fact that our key focus areas such as Media & Communication, falls within the scope of this particular SETA. The qualifications offered through MICT-SETA are recognised by SAQA and are registered on their National Qualification Framework (NQF).
